MAPS GROUPLimited – renamed Procurement Australasia Limited.
From March 2018, MAPS Group Limited. will be known as Procurement Australasia Ltd. The name change was determined at the company’s Annual General Meeting on Friday 23 February 2018.
In 1985, the City of Melbourne established a buying group which was later incorporated and named MAPS Group Limited, with MAPS standing for Municipal Authorities Purchasing Scheme, particularly relevant in the market in which it traded at that time, i.e. Local Government.
Over the years, the company has successfully expanded its market to include other government authorities and not-for-profit entities, the private sector and, most recently, in June 2017, expanded again with the acquisition of Church Resources, Australia’s leading specialist aggregator in the not-for-profit sector.
The company’s ACN/ABN remains unchanged and the new naming conventions are:
Procurement Australasia Limited t/as Procurement Australia, and Procurement Australasia Limited t/as Church Resources.
