Qantas to open popup transit lounge at Darwin Airport

Qantas will open a temporary lounge to cater for eligible customers travelling between Sydney
and London via Darwin from next month.

Qantas will lease Darwin International Airport’s Catalina lounge, which will have space for
approximately 100 guests utilising existing furniture and fittings. 

Virgin’s Flexible Flying Policy extended to 30 April 2022

NSW scraps quarantine for overseas travellers

Fully vaccinated Australians returning home from overseas will no longer need to enter quarantine in Sydney from 1 November 2021 as NSW becomes the first Australian state to drop mandatory quarantine.

As of November 1, the only requirement will be that people arriving into NSW – must be fully-vaccinated and take a Covid-19 test before boarding their flight to Australia.

Qantas brings flights forward as VIC opens to the world

Qantas will bring forward international flights from Melbourne following the Victorian Government’s decision to remove quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers returning from overseas from November.

The national carrier welcomes the decision by the Victorian Government, which was made possible by the huge number of Victorians who have rolled up their sleeves to get vaccinated.
